Hair colour problem and need advice please?

I hav dark brown/black hair and i have never dyed it before, i want to die it dark or bright red, what do u think?


I really want to die my hair red but i don't know which shade?


and also seeing as my eyebrows are dark brown/black; what do i do to them as it would look odd?

If your hair is very dark, then the temporary dyes don't do much. Choose a very dark red if you're starting out that way. Red also fades the fastest out of all the colours.





If you can afford it, go to a salon and get expert advice. I would leave your eyebrows alone, or again, get them done professionally.

People do lighten their eyebrows, but usually they go to a salon for that as they know exactly what they are doing. (well 97% of them do) if i were you i would just color your hair black and red... mix it up a bit... that would look really cool.





I have had clients come to me about going to different shades of red and so on.. if you like the bright red, be careful cause that color contains a high peroxide level and could ';burn'; or ';damage'; your hair and you could end up bald.





So again i would recommend you mix it up a bit with the red and the black...





Is your hair more brown or more black?... if it is closer to black I would say go to a salon... a good one... meaning ask different salons what they recommend you should do...and what kinds of color to purchase. Plus red hair fades really fast to an orange and then to a pink... even if you maintain it very well... trust me.

maybe lighten your eyebrows, but makesure the dyedoesnt get into your eyes cause youll go blind
I think you should do the dark red, it will look really cute like that!..But if you want to do a bright red, then you would have to bleach it before you dye it, and that could be harmful to your hair...As for your eyebrows, it would look fine if you left them how they are, what would look weird is if you had red eyebrows...
